Before the Outbreak:
Owen was a easy going guy with a sense of humor, though he had his moments with this temper and once in a while got a black eye for his trouble. But all in all he was a smart easy going good guy who would hurt a fly unless provoked.

After the virus outbreak he changes once his Wife and Children die of the Illness, he becomes more harsh and not as forgiving to anyone who crosses his path.
