Madison Isaac was hungry, exhausted, sore, and terrified she had been on the road for weeks trying to find a secured spot away from the walking corpse's the killed and ate anything that drew breaths. However it was more difficult then she thought it would be at first. The dead were everywhere, and made finding a safe place impossible. Hordes of them roamed streets and highways and the were persistent once they caught scent of something or someone they followed...
At least that was what she gathered, they weren't very smart, they followed by smell and noise mostly and it was instinct to them, no higher thinking not really. The really smart ones could likely open a door handle if they really tried to think.. despite not being very smart their shear numbers made them dangerous and hard to get away from.
For now Madison was in a bit of a bind trapped in a old super market, she had to get food and gas to leave town with, but the horde of walkers caught up to her and the now filled the parking lot. She swallowed and prayed they moved on as long as she kept quiet and stayed low.. they should move on.
