-How I act-
Personality: At his core, Aaron is a kind and generous man when he has enough of something to give. With the virus that has swept across the world, Aaron has become incredibly wary and paranoid of anyone that approaches him. He does not actively seek the harm of others. Instead, he does what he can to defend himself and anyone he cares about. ‘Protective’ doesn’t even begin to cover his nature when a friend or loved one is threatened. Some would say his behavior is reckless.
His entire world is his young daughter, Emily. Without her, Aaron would be hard-pressed to continue living.
-History-
Your Story Please? Aaron is the firstborn child of Benjamin and Theresa Davis. Ever since his parents taught him how to write, he knew he wanted to do it for a living. He loved creating fictional worlds, stirring up plots, and weaving the web of a story. Aaron eventually went on to college to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Education. Along the way, he met and fell in love with classmate Megan Straub. They were married and went on their honeymoon not more than a month after graduating.
Despite having indoorsy occupations, Aaron enjoys outdoorsy hobbies such as fishing, hunting, trapping, and gardening (acquired an enjoyment for gardening via Megan). He also is knowledgeable on how to prepare caught fish and game for cooking. Anything he professes to have knowledge of was likely researched in depth for a book or idea in the works.
When they decided to have a child, it took a couple of years before Megan conceived. Aaron was working as an adjunct English professor at the local college, while writing a book on the side. He had already published two novels. He took a leave of absence when Emily was born to care for and write about her. Needless to say, Aaron was and continues to be a highly devoted father.
Seven years later, to the present, disaster has crushed the little family. Aaron had been trying his best to tend to his wife and daughter, both of whom had become ill. At first he thought nothing of it. His ignorance to the severity of their condition has haunted him ever since he woke up one morning to find Megan hunched over the toilet, dead. He rushed to find Emily and found her alive but still ill. Breaking the news of Megan’s death to the child wasn’t easy, and together they buried her in the furthest corner of their yard.
In a panic as Emily’s condition worsens by the day, Aaron has taken to driving to any hospital, doctors’ offices, and the like in order to acquire any and all medical supplies or texts that might help save his daughter.
